Qualifications

Strategic HR business partner responsible for supporting the Adjacent Businesses (Fine Arts, Entertainment Services and Consumer) in Iron Mountain's global portfolio. Consults with senior leaders on matters related to organizational effectiveness, including but not limited to organizational

  • Provide strategic consultation and education to senior business leaders on human capital matters resulting inimproved decision making (speed, quality and transparency).

  • Execute against strategic initiatives identified in collaboration with the business. Evaluate organizational performance as it relates to strategic workforce planning, change management, role clarity and consistency in people leader performance.

  • Provides M&A support and partnership through deal due diligence and post close integration.

  • In collaboration with the Sr. Director, HR Business

  • Partnerships, lead Succession Planning and Talent

  • Development efforts for the local Adjacent Businesses. In partnership with Talent organization, develop and leverage programs broadly. Using the talent mapping process, act as talent broker for high potential leaders to identify growth and exposure opportunities by looking across the global landscape.

  • Supports senior leaders with achieving their diversity and inclusion agendas.

  • Oversee the Performance Management and compensation cycle for local leaders to include communication, training, consistency reviews, calibration sessions, and strategic use of compensation budget in concert with talent identification and succession planning efforts.

Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of HR and/or OD experience. Experience partnering with senior leadership on complex matters.

Possesses M&A and integration experience. Possesses broad knowledge of all internal HR programs and services. Ability to understand and develop strategies that impact overall effectiveness of the business unit and the broader organization.

Ability to communicate and present effectively to all levels of the organization, in particular senior leaders and other key decisions makers. Has a strategic, solution-focused mind set; experience designing and managing successful people projects and programs; and has an established track record of innovation. Ability to work globally and independently, take initiative, negotiate, and influence thinking.

Experience in a fast growing technology, telecommunication or data center organization preferred. Ability to be nimble, creative, and open to change. Previous experience in both entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies, with the ability to adapt.

Proven skills in MS Office products required, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The HRBP will provide employee and labor relations support including policy interpretation, dispute and conflict resolution, and mentorship to management. Receives and effectively handles employee issues, escalating these issues to the appropriate level of discipline and/or employment action when necessary. Position Responsibilities * Administers employee relations program which addresses consistent application of human resources policies, including progressive discipline and termination issues. * Conducts accurate, effective, and legally defensible investigations into employment issues. Develops effective coaching and disciplinary documentation. Completes all required internal documentation, maintains records, and prepares ad hoc reports for management. Maintains confidential employee information. * Review for accurate completion of all forms and documents required to process new hires, terminations, leave of absences, and other employee transactions for employees. Ensure that the appropriate forms and documents have been initiated for all of these transactions in a timely manner. * Assist Senior Leaders, Branch, District and Regional Managers with investigations to ensure they are accurately and present a resolution to branch management in a timely manner. * Will manage and handle union grievances. * Oversee the leave of absence/FMLA/STD/LTD process. Prepare the appropriate FMLA/disability notification letter and forms and ensure timely delivery to employees. Monitor LOA's to ensure employees provide appropriate medical form to process leave and a release forms before returning to work. Ensure the appropriate input to HRIS system is completed to coordinate pay/benefits with the Benefits and Payroll departments. * Assist in building, manage and developing a world-class HR team to drive positive employee relations and a customer focused HR culture. Manage the performance of direct reports to maximize impact and efficiency. * Provides consultation and recommendations to staff and managers in the interpretation of policies and procedures, including conducting training/educational sessions to staff and managers. * Makes appropriate recommendations for corrective action that aligns with the company's policies, practices and culture. Continually review policies for compliance with current laws and employment issues. * Recognize compliance issues and suggest solutions or best practices to address issues. * Conduct investigations on complaints and other high-leveraged allegations to mitigate risk and minimize legal action. Responsible for investigating and working with the Sr. Human Resources Manager to respond to government agency inquiries including DOL, NLRB and EEOC/OCRC. * Responsible for different HR duties to include, but not limited: computer entry and file maintenance; new hire paperwork; unemployment claims; maintenance of confidential personnel files and personnel actions in compliance with applicable legal requirements; maintain computer employee data information; miscellaneous employee requests; set up exit interviews; assist HR Manager with projects. * Familiarize self with employee handbooks and reference appropriate policies to employees and staff/management with questions. Ability to influence and effectively communicate polices and best practices * Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Requirements Knowledge, Skills Abilities * Minimum five (5) years human resources in employee relations/engagement experience. * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration. * Proven ability to plan effectively and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities. * Service industry experience preferred. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office including word, excel and powerpoint. * Ability to exercise sound and prudent judgment. * Ability to effectively deal with sensitive issues, often involving interpersonal conflict. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
