Position Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HR Business Partner) will work as a key member of the HR team, exemplifying the Hoffman Core Values as the on-site HR resource for employees. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner will support the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of HR programs and policies on a project site. By valuing the differences of team members, they will play an integral role in creating a positive, inclusive experience for all employees. The HR Business Partner will support employee and project success by building trust-based professional relationships and being a collaborative, action-oriented HR professional.
Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually, based on experience
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with key stakeholders, including other HR colleagues, Benefits, Payroll, IT, Project Management, and Leadership to ensure an efficient, clearly communicated, and positive onboarding experience for new employees.
Deliver all HR support with a service mindset.
Work with local and remote teams to ensure compliance with appropriate federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations as they relate to Human Resources.
Be the go-to for employment and labor law questions associated with the state in which the Business Partner is located.
Partner with leaders at the assigned location, ensuring a mutual understanding of business strategy, and project requirements.
Partner with HR leadership and Risk Management in the investigation of complex or sensitive employee and labor relations issues, including those related to employee complaints, conflicts and policy investigations.
Evaluate and anticipate human resources-related needs on the project site and provide recommended solutions or actions.
Support managers in identifying recruiting needs based on staffing plans and supporting the Talent Management and Talent Development teams as needed.
Provide employee development and performance management advice to management as appropriate.

5+ Years of Human Resources Experience required
2-5 years of Human Resources Business Partner, or HR Functions Specialist Experience required
SHRM California Law HR Specialty Credential preferred
Experience with Oracle HCM preferred
