Do you want to work with executive partners and drive human resources related needs across a large engineering function? Dematic is hiring for a Human Resource Business Partner to partner with a large workgroup supporting 400+ employees.
This will be a key role as a human resource strategic business partner for a variety of Departmental Functions including Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Operations).
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic human resources leader to partner with some of Dematic's key leaders to develop strategies and capabilities, which best position Dematic to continue to gain market share by anticipating and meeting the strategic objectives of our customers. The Human Resources BP will utilize creative problem-solving skills to drive efficiency in programs, processes, practices and initiatives needed to fuel the strategy and growth of the business through its people. Candidates for this position must have demonstrated success as a Human Resource BP. This role will serve as a trusted adviser to the key executives that the she/he supports, utilizing extensive experience to identify, create, and deliver innovative and pragmatic Human Resource solutions, while implementing processes and procedures to address business needs. He/she will motivate the workforce to achieve goals within an environment of excellence by building exceptional talent capabilities.
Enabling the business by developing a strategic talent plan and helping to guide critical talent decisions including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development and performance management to support Dematic's growth plans.
Lead the planning and strategy for key business groups in the areas of recruitment, talent management and organizational development.
Understand the business and talent priorities by driving business results through systemic organizational and talent strategies that are aligned to the business strategy.
Use metric and data to enable business leaders by identifying trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee engagement.
Support the development of a strategy to recruit and retain diverse, world-class talent that will allow Dematic a competitive advantage over competition.
Partner with leadership team to implement effective strategies to enable meaningful change and the opportunity that it brings.
Partner with the communications team on delivery of important employee facing communication initiatives.
Build leadership and management capability to facilitate an open and inclusive environment that increases team member engagement.
Drive HR projects and implement or improve existing processes to support the organization's strategy
Lead complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Lead and facilitate progressive discipline, harassment, workplace violence and other HR related issues.
Full life cycle recruitment and partnering with Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence.
Champion initiatives that support the success of the organization's growth and reinforce a collaborative, aligned, and engaged culture.
What We Are Looking For
Knowledge / Qualifications:
3-5+ years of direct applicable Human Resource Leadership experience in a fast paced, innovative, engineering / technology company.
Bachelor's degree and relevant direct work experience required
Understands and able to align policies and practices with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Demonstrated understanding and application of Human Resources areas including, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Organizational Design, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, and Change Management.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders as a trusted adviser and confidant.
Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence.
Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
Demonstrated advanced customer focus, judgment, analytical skills, critical thinking and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal) required.
