Summary of the Position:

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), the HRBP Associate is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value- added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP Associate maintains an effective level of business literacy around the business unit's operations, hiring plans, culture, and business needs.

Primary Functions of the Position

  • Works with the HRBP to administer various human resources plans and procedures.

  • Assists the HRBP with the staffing budget and staffing analysis.

  • Partner with business units and the Talent Acquisition team on identifying hiring needs.

  • Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

  • Assists in coordinating HR Audits.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics to provide recommendations for developing solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Guide and coaches managers on performance management and conduct issues under our Progressive Discipline Policy.

  • Assists the HRBP in overseeing the internship program.

  • Provides guidance and input on departmental restructurings and workforce planning.

  • Creates reports and presentations utilizing HR metrics.

  • Support Employee Engagement Activities.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of recent progressive Human Resources experience.

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruiting, compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

  • Experience with HR and staffing analysis.

  • Experience working within HRIS systems such as Peoplesoft, Taleo, Workday, Etc.

  • Working knowledge with Affirmative Action.

  • Building and delivering clear and effective presentations.

  • Experience with employee and organizational surveys.

  • Bachelor's degree.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Experience in planning employee events.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
