The Opportunity
TrueFort is looking for an innovative and passionate human resources business partner with recruiting experience. An amazing human being that is strategically focused on recruiting top talent, maintaining that top talent and developing a program that coincides with our company success. We are looking for you to partner with business leaders and individual contributors to develop and execute strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement; as well as: building relationships internally, advocating for our employees' needs and aligning initiatives with our business goals. We are looking for someone who will proactively identify new opportunities to build an inclusive culture, implement effective change management and drive business results. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. You will possess both people management and recruiting skills and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with the CEO and COO.
Who are you?
You have 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist and/or Human Resources Business Partner experience including experience with recruiting, in the high-tech industry.
At least 4-6 years of full-lifecycle experience recruiting engineers.
At least 2 years hiring Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, or Product Designers.
You have a deep understanding of the technical landscape and able to speak eloquently about software development.
You have experience working as part of a global team.
You own a strong understanding of US employment and immigration law(s).
You have a strong business acumen, a solid understanding of core organizational goals and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with discretion, thoughtfulness and empathy.
You will have the ability to adapt to frequent change and growth as a creative resourceful problem solver.
You have successfully demonstrated the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization (including C-suite executives) that have a wide range of personalities and skill sets.

Education:
What will you do?
You will serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner on team planning, recruiting, performance management, career development, leadership coaching, organizational design, employee relations, and compensation to support a scalable and progressive people organization in a fast-growing technology company. Through regular check-ins, attending team meetings, survey feedback, and exit interviews, you'll maintain a "pulse" on team culture and engagement, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will play an active support role in the planning and changes around team structure and staffing, hiring plans and process, change management, organizational design, promotions, and compensation for your assigned teams. You will advise the business and teams within labor laws and compliance requirements (FLSA, Independent Contractors, etc.) and will escalate and respond to internal complaints as needed. In addition, you're familiar with navigating HRIS, and Microsoft 365 and Teams.
