Cracker Barrel is looking for a HR Business Analyst who utilizes business systems knowledge and technical experience to make recommendations on innovative business process improvements that yield efficiencies and productivity gains. This person's would be responsible for complex system configuration and integrations and also collect and analyze human capital and HR data and metrics to identify important workforce trends and demonstrate the implications of these trends on the business. Ideally you will serves as a project manager and/or business analyst in Cracker Barrel's project management framework and act as consultant for HRIS department. You will be involved in work that has you understand the big picture, requires you being detail oriented, allows you to think critically, and solves problems.
ResponsibilityProject Management and Business AnalysisGather project requirements, deliverables and manage deadlines based on business need. As well as clarify any ambiguity until it is understood by the project team.Conducts return on investment analysis and process simulation to evaluate business impact. Manages cross-functional project teams and vendors. Ensures all stakeholders have knowledge of process changes and implementation schedules.Serves projects as a Project Manager, Business Analyst and/or project team member.Data AnalysisWorks with multiple functional areas across the organization to analyze human capital and HR data. Develop, modify, and analyze reports predominantly using iCIMS,Tableau, Cognos and the Cracker Barrel HR Data Warehouse.Assist the Business Process Manager and IS team with the continuous improvement and expansion of the HR Data WarehouseSeeks to identify existing solutions or creates and designs reports to satisfy business needs.Analyzes HCM data to identify trends and create data narratives.HR Business Systems AnalysisServes as a consultant guiding multiple business areas providing expertise when leveraging technology to improve business processes.Analyzes processes for HR systems across multiple departments. Makes recommendations on process improvements as well as suggestions for new technology or enhanced functionality.Conducts industry best practice research and stays current with HR technology offerings
Liaison with the Information Systems group
System Configurations and IntegrationsWorks with third parties, internal business unit resources, and technical IS resources to configure and test system updates. This includes communication and downstream process change management.Works with third parties, internal business unit resources, and technical IS resources to setup, monitor, and improve system integrations.
Bachelor's degree in information management, business, or related field plus a minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in HR business process project management and/or HRIS. Prefer a Master's degree in business or Information Technology.
Exposure to tools and techniques presented in the Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) Certification.
Industry knowledge related to human capital management and information technology.
Skilled at business process design and simulation.
