POSITION SUMMARY: The stylist is the most important position in the salon. We are very proud of our stylists and believe that our stylists are the best in the business. The certification our stylists receive at the end of Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) represents our promise to our guests that each and every stylist we employ is a fully trained and highly skilled professional.
The stylist is responsible for servicing guests in a friendly, professional way and understanding that the guest's satisfaction is of utmost importance. The stylist will accomplish this by following the Supercuts Operating Principles, Brand Standards, 360 Service Experience, and utilizing the Supercuts technique effectively, creatively, and efficiently. Utilizing a thorough consultation procedure to ensure that every guest's expectations are exceeded is part of the commitment a stylist makes when becoming an employee.
Provide quality haircuts by following the 360 Service Experience, consulting with the guest, using the Supercuts technique, and perform all salon services as necessary including: haircuts, color, shampooing and conditioning, waxing, blow drying, styling, and finishing services.
Educate and recommend products to help the guests maintain their hairstyles between salon visits.
Follow the salon dress code.
Maintain current Cosmetology or Barber's License for state of employment.
Attend all required technical training sessions.
Perform receptionist's duties when no receptionist is available.
Must have a valid Cosmetology or Barber's License for state of employment.
Strong guest service skills.
Good communication skills.
Professional appearance and presence.
Successful completion of Hair Stylist Academy once hired.
