OfficeTeam is currently hiring for a Human Resource Coordinator for an established medical company in Santa Barbara. This position will be responsible for full recruiting tasks including recruiting for clinical, clerical and management staff.

This will entail going through all of the steps of recruiting from job posting, to interviewing, to extending offers. Similarly, this position will require someone who is comfortable with leading trainings and conducting new hire onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, several years of experience with recruiting, and a bachelors degree.

Medical experience is a plus! Responsibilities include: ? Assist with planning new employee orientation meetings ? Create job postings to bring in potential new candidates ? Conduct interviews and assist with the onboarding process ? Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners


Requirements

Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree preferred. ? Five years? experience in Human Resources with experience in benefits and leave of absences, preferably in a health care environment. ? PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus. ? Skill in problem solving and critical thinking. ? Excellent organizational skills. ? Clear and concise communications skills ? Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. ? organize and prioritize work. ? Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, management, patients, medical staff, and the public.

The SHRG is involved in all aspects of the employee life cycle: talent acquisition, employee engagement and retention, employee relations, learning and development, total rewards, and company policy and employment law compliance. Overview of Key Responsibilities * Develop and nurture strong relationships with client groups; proactively lead and support the delivery of HR programs and processes; own small client group * Advise and support employees and management in all relevant HR matters; collaborate on department-specific or company-wide change or organizational development activities. * Proactively collaborate with client groups to provide guidance, education and consultation on how to avoid potential employee relations issues * Act as first point of contact for Employee Relations issues and concerns; document and resolves issues - severance packages, etc. * Advise on compensation in alignment with the Compensation & Benefits Team + business partners. * Assess the need for talent development in alignment with business partners; work closely with the Learning and Development team to implement training and development initiatives * Collaborate with recruiting team in selecting talent for the organization, initiate and ensure successful onboarding * Recommend improvements and new approaches on policies and procedures to continuously improve and simplify. * Maintain a thorough understanding of current employment laws and HR best practices; interprets applicability of employment law and company policy. * Drive and implement HR projects in alignment with team approach; prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. * Use data and analytical skills to support recommendations and decisions. * Manage immigration program and processes. Position Requirements * 4+ years of experience in the HR function, preferably as an HR Generalist * Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations * Experience in global work environments and/or multiple language skills of advantage * Project management / change management expertise * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). * Working knowledge of the ADP software application/product. * Knowledge of HRIS (Bamboo preferred) and ability to run reports.
