POSITION: Associate Relations Representative

SECTION: Human Resources (HR)

WAGE SCALE: Business Administrative Coordinator (BAC)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

  • Assist in development, implementation and administration of human resources policies and procedures

  • Participate in developing and achieving department's goals and objectives to include Business Plan and Budget

  • Internal job posting and selection process

  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars

  • Ensure compliance of HSC policies / procedures and federal / state employment laws

  • Respond expeditiously to associate relation issues such as associate complaints, harassment allegations and federal equal employment law complaints

  • Collaborate with management via recommendations for appropriate resolution

  • Assist associates at all organizational levels with work related issues / concerns through advice and recommendations

  • Assist management with associate separations and conduct exit interviews

  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism

  • Represent HSC at selected company and community events

  • Maintain an attitude and philosophy consistent with HSC standards

  • Track daily attendance for assigned areas and issue appropriate level of counseling consistent with HSC policy and procedures

  • Coordinate and assist with HSC sponsored events

  • Conduct walkthrough of each assigned area a minimum of two times per workday and attend pre-shift meetings in respective departments

  • Understand, adhere and promote safety standards and procedures

  • Conduct training sessions on topics related to Human Resources

  • Participate in South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce Unemployment Hearings as requested

  • Perform other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business related field and / or 2 4 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist

  • PHR Certification is desired, but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work along with excellent project management skills

  • Ability to work in an open office and team environment

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Additional Work Factors

  • Ability to travel, if needed

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including shifts and weekends as necessary

  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary to support department needs (short term and/or scheduled)

  • Perform multiple work tasks

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a main point of contact for our customers by handling inbound and outbound sales and service related calls and performing administrative functions ensuring the highest level of customer service, quality, efficiency and accuracy in all that you do.
