Human Resources Assistant - Temporary (6 Months)

The Human Resources Assistant will be based out of Fort Edward, New York (1 Eddy Street, 12828).

Job Requirements
High school diploma
Demonstrated problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Customer focused individual with exceptional interpersonal skills
Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and Outlook
The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:
Responsible for a variety of HR & Recruitment related activities that will give you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, including.
Assist with recruitment, including attracting and sourcing candidates, screening, interviews and working with Hiring Managers on candidate suitability
Work collaboratively with team members from various departments on a variety of ad hoc requests
Utilize our human resources information system (HCM) and maintain data integrity i.e. employee lifecycle changes
Lead and complete special projects
Perform any tasks associated with administering HR programs and initiatives including coordination of recognition, celebrations, employee events and community giving
HR continuous improvement i.e. standard work and digital initiatives
Coordinate interview scheduling
Coordinate and attend job fairs and other recruitment events, as required
