Reporting to the Manager of Classification and Compensation, this full-time management confidential position supports several areas of HR including learning and development, classification and compensation, recruitment, appointment processing, and HR analytics.

Major Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
Learning and Development
Manage the online training system BizLibrary, to help maintain accurate employee training records.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical system issues as they arise.
Assign all compliance training required by NYS Labor Law/SUNY.
Assist supervisors/employees with training needs by researching and educating on available trainings through the BizLibrary system.
Contact training vendors to inquire about their services and fees.
Classification and Compensation
Complete salary surveys and assist with faculty and professional salary planning.
Assist with reviewing and editing job descriptions.
Recruitment
Provide assistance with the preparation and posting of position advertisements.
Process reference review requests and provide interpretive assistance to search committees and hiring managers.
Respond to applicant inquiries related to the status of searches and use of the applicant tracking system.
Assist managers with using the applicant tracking system and resolve problems as they arise.
