LaunchPointPEO, a division of Subsidium, Inc, helps companies by handling the Human Resources (HR) burden, and providing lower cost benefits to employees and companies. LaunchPointPEO will provide a cost-effective benefit package for our clients, improve their HR processes, assist with attracting and retaining quality employees, managing and controlling the cost of employee benefits, processing payroll, keeping up with changes to Federal and State employment laws, managing liability and risk and handling all general HR administration.
The HR associate will be helping in the Human Resources division of LaunchPointPEO. This entry level position will consist of full training in the beginning and then begin to assist the HR department full-time. The qualified applicant must be willing to learn HR policies, procedures, compensation administration, performance management, policy development, and employee relations. Must be proficient using word processing and database/spreadsheet applications; Must have ability to organize work, compose correspondence and policies, analyze and interpret data, and prepare reports drawing logical conclusions. Must have the ability to interpret, explain and apply HR/ agency policies/procedures and state, and federal employment laws/regulations effectively. Requires ability to manage multiple priorities, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and employees. Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Create offer letters for potential new hires using our online in-house applicant tracking system and HR system.
Aid the Account Managers on any HR related projects.
File hard copy documentation.
Assist in the new hire on-boarding process, including making badges, sending out & taking record of important documentation such as I-9s, W-2s, and the employee handbook.
Answering phones whenever needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a high school diploma.
Must work well in a teamwork-heavy environment.
Experience with Microsoft office.
Must be very comfortable working with the Internet and with typing.
Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
