The Human Resources Assistant provides reception, administrative, and clerical support for the Human Resources Department. # Job Functions Provides front line Customer Service, ensuring support to employees, applicants, vendors and visitors to the HR department. Assists candidates with applications, pre-employment testing, access to HRIS or other systems, and provides basic support and information regarding HR functions. Responsible for the creation, scanning, maintenance and archiving of digital and manual files, ensuring all HR records remain current and accurate. Supports the onboarding process to include monitoring and coordinating the completion of all paperwork and documentation by new hires including, but not limited to, job offer letters, orientation schedules and job descriptions. Performs administrative duties including answering phones, data entry, new hire quality checks, reports, creating binders, flyers and memos, copying and scanning. Responsible for monitoring supplies and ordering as necessary. Assists with HR invoice payment processing, securing appropriate approval from HR team, submitting invoices for payment, and tracking payment status. Participates in the planning and the implementation of employee events and activities sponsored by the Human Resources Department. # Job Requirements # One year of clerical and customer service experience preferred. Previous human resources experience is highly preferred. #Must have computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of Excel. Able to provide exceptional reception and customer service. Good work ethic with a history of reliability and good attendance on previous jobs Careful attention to detail a must Ability to type 45 wpm without errors.
