🔍 What is the role?JTS Direct is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our team and support our HR operations. In this role, you’ll assist with recruitment, employee onboarding, records management, and day-to-day HR administration. As an integral part of the HR team, you’ll be involved in maintaining a positive and productive workplace that aligns with JTS Direct’s core values.
🛠️ What will you do?- Recruitment Support: Assist in scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing job postings.
- Onboarding Coordination: Prepare new-hire paperwork, organize onboarding sessions, and set up employee workspaces.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries on policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Attendance Tracking: Monitor attendance, record absences, and assist with PTO management.
- Administrative Support: Assist with HR document preparation, data entry, and maintaining the HR calendar.
- Policy Implementation: Help communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure all employees are informed and aligned.
- Event Coordination: Support planning and coordinating employee engagement activities and company events.
🎓 What are we looking for?- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience or coursework in HR is a plus.
📚 Education & Experience:- High school diploma required; coursework in HR or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR, preferred.
