Position
As an Entry Level Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resource department at Pacific Office Automation in various administrative tasks and initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to kick-start their career in Human Resources and gain valuable experience.
Essential Job Duties:
Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork, with particular attention to Benefit Enrollment. Troubleshoot issues with benefit administration and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and HRIS implementation.
Assist with benefits administration and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries for Benefits.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, processes of employment verifications, benefit audits, unemployment claims, and workers compensation.
Assist in managing company car program related to fleet vehicles and assignments.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field, or 1-2 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to consistently meet attendance standards for regular, reliable, predictable, full-time attendance in the office
Previous internship or work experience in Human Resources is a plus.
