We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will be you will be responsible for maintaining the organizations HR files, paperwork, and documents ensuring the departments operations are streamlined and efficient.
Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creates new hire file and ensures all required documents are in the file.
Maintains the organizations digital and hardcopy filing systems.
Scans files and upload digital copies to the database
Makes necessary updates to records with new information
Appropriately file and quickly retrieve documents and paperwork when requested
Audits all files for accuracy, content, and completeness.
Gathers and organizes terminated files and prepares for storage.
Verifies for accuracy, completes and maintains I-9's.
Responds accordingly to unemployment claims
Processes and manages Employee Referral Program.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum 1 to 2 years human resources or comparable experience
Ability to efficiently and accurately manage large volumes of documents and files.
Time management skills with the ability to multitask and thrive in a high volume high-paced work environment
Strong computer proficiency. Excellent in MS Office applications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Accurate, organized detail oriented and efficient.
Excellent organizational abilities
Experience with HRIS database preferred.
Strong team player, reliable and ability to adjust to a rapidly changing environment.
Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality, especially with highly sensitive issues.
English will be the primary language used; bilingual abilities useful but not required.
