Essential Functions -
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards to the appropriate personnel or department
Greets and assists all visitors to the Human Resources department
Processes mail, completes employee uniform distribution and inventory reconciliation
Provides administrative/clerical support (filing, scheduling, photocopying, etc.)
Responsible for department records/retention
Assist Director with special projects (birthday cards, anniversary cards and special events)
Print and administer badges
Assist with Employee Events
Process Purchase Orders
Manage the uniform room, order uniforms, etc.
Maintain and update telephone directory
Complete I9 audits
Complete/Submit Racing Licenses
Performs other duties as assigned
Additional:
Assist HR Project Coordinator with special requests
Assist with New Hire Orientation Admin Tasks (assembling folders, uniform distribution, etc.)
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Education and/or Experience: 1 year - relevant experience in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or GED (some college coursework preferred). Working knowledge of basic human resources principles and practices. Excellent Windows/Microsoft (Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) Skills. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service; to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regard to the implementation of current duties. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the staff. Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
Licenses/Certificates: Must be 21 years or older. Must be able to obtain a Racing License commissioned by LSRC.
