JOB OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for performing HRIS and benefits related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR team in supporting all companies.

MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as a technical point of contact and subject matter expert of the HRIS platform (ADP Workforce). This includes HR reporting and auditing employee data, employee self-service and online benefits enrollment.

  • Provides excellent internal customer service for employee benefits requests, questions and concerns in a timely manner.

  • Maintains department intranet webpage and online MS SharePoint forms.

  • Assists with benefits administration and FMLA/leave requests.

  • Prepares internal compensation analysis, assists HR Management with external compensation analysis.

  • Manages the exit interview program for personnel by analyzing data and reporting trends to HR Management for corrective action and continuous improvement.

  • Assists with the continuous improvement and development of HR processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions to meet business needs.

  • Protects the integrity of Human Resources Department by maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Assists HR Management with various research projects and/or specific department projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HRIS (ADP Workforce preferred), word processing, and spreadsheet software.

  • Solid knowledge of general human resource functions and procedures.

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Skill in talking with employees and managers regarding confidential situations and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Communicates clearly and effectively with associates at all levels, board members, external partners and customers. Strong verbal and written presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.

  • Working knowledge of current employment practices and law, Workers' compensation, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC.

  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience.

  • Two to three years of experience in a variety of human resource functions to include benefits administration, worker's compensation, employee relations, legal compliance, employment law, staffing, record-keeping, compensation, etc.

  • General office equipment including copier, fax, phone, computer/keyboard, etc.

Essential Duties: * Supports the HRBP/Manager in coordinating and/or conducting employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, employee investigations, and employee disciplinary meetings. * Executes transactional core HR processes (e.g. coordinate new associate orientation, unemployment claims processes, onboarding and exit interviews, transitional return to work, leave administration, and OSHA reporting) * Assisting the HR Manager in protecting the interests of employees and Shamrock by ensuring legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met. * Supports the HRBP/Manager in coordinating orientation efforts and assists in the training within the branch * Builds and fosters strong professional work relationships across all sectors and locations of the business and works collaboratively and effectively with other parts of HR. * Maintaining employee related data bases and document control; preparing and analyzing reports that pertain to the HR function. * Assisting with Unemployment Claims/hearings providing accurate information to third party administrator and testify (as needed) in hearings. * Maintains confidentiality at all times * Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting from four-year College or University. * One to three years of relevant accounting experience. * Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and switch gears seamlessly. * Must be able to handle stress well. * Proven ability to prioritize workload, multi task and problem solve is a must in this position. * Strong people skills is a must in this position.
