Job Title: Human Resources Analyst

Classification: Full-time, 260 days

Reports To: Director of Human Resources

Salary: $18.61 - $26.54/hour (Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.)

Essential Duties and Functions

  • Execute onboarding and exiting protocol for all Certified, Classified, and Substitute personnel
  • Knowledgeable of certification and/or licenses requirements for positions when applicable
  • Determine salary placements based on experience and transcript evaluation
  • Draft and issue Contracts/Work Agreements for all employees
  • Compile employee data and create related reports
  • Provide personnel activity information to Governing Board
  • Maintain electronic records for all employees (personal data, transfers, resignation/termination information, etc.); update as needed
  • Assist with the SDER (School District Employee Report) annual State report submission
  • Track vacancies; post available positions on District website and/or ADE Job Board
  • Assist with job creating and/or revising job descriptions
  • Follow required DPS fingerprinting practices
  • Complete staff requested documents (Employment Verification forms, Loan Forgiveness applications, etc.)
  • Manage the Frontline system for employee absences
  • Respond to staff requests and concerns
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred; or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training in a school district; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed
  • Ability to use technology relevant to the position i.e. Tyler iVisions, Frontline/Aesop, Google Workspace, Microsoft Suites
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in oral and written formats
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all AJUSD policies, regulations, and rules
  • Vision and hearing adequate to exercise

Physical Requirements - District Office Employee

Positions in this department typically requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, sitting for extended periods of time, manual dexterity, repetitive finger motion, speaking, hearing, seeing (with correction), focusing ability, or other factors applicable to this job. Employees may be subject to travel. Employees may be required to lift or exert up to 25 pounds of force to move objects occasionally, and up to 50 pounds of force to move objects occasionally. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
