Walker's Renton Subaru Mazda is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to support a busy dealership. The candidate should have at least 3 years of progressive HR experience, proven leadership, and a Can-Do attitude! Position Type: Full-Time (Exempt)

Salary: $65,000 - $72,000

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact for HR related questions and inquiries.

  • Partners with department managers to recruit and fill open positions.

  • Handle Worker's comp/L&I claims.

  • Managed company benefits programs.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.

  • Provides support and guidance to management and staff in employee relation matters.

  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

  • Conducts new hire orientation for both dealership locations.

  • Manages and facilitates the company's open enrollment.

  • Manage PTO accruals.

  • Manage and update personnel records in compliance with state and local laws.

  • Ensures updated and accurate information in HRIS, Paychex.

  • Responsible for offboarding and processing employee terminations.

  • Respond to all unemployment claims and inquiries.

  • Solves complex problems requiring interpretation of policy and understanding of division and department objectives.

  • Manages all Leaves of Absences (Paid Leave, FMLA, ADA).

  • Assists with Payroll in submission of company payroll according to pay schedules.

  • Revise, review, create, and implement policies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably HR Generalist/HR Manager.

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking & HRIS systems.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Strong understanding of state, local, and federal laws (FMLA, Paid Leave, ADA, NRLA, Title IV, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree and/or SHRM or PHR Certification preferred

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
