Court Name/Organization: Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Overview of the Position:

This position is located in the Clerk's Office for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the professional, technical, and administrative work related to various human resources and training programs and activities. The incumbent is responsible for managing the full range of human resources programs and activities while ensuring compliance with appropriate guidelines, policies, and approved internal controls.

The incumbent plays a vital role and serves as a resource for unit executives, judges, HR staff, and employees. The ideal candidate for this position will be a high achiever interested in a long-term career working as part of a collegial and collaborative administrative team in New Orleans. The successful applicant must possess an outstanding work ethic; excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; and unquestioned integrity.

The incumbent must also have the ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment; interpret, disseminate, and explain complex guidance; exercise sound judgement; and maintain confidentiality in all matters. The duties of this position must be performed in the office, although limited telework may be granted in accordance with the office's telework policy.
