You are an Employee Experience champion and as part of the HR team, youll provide hands-on support Nitels all-star cast of employees. Like a versatile athlete, youll seamlessly navigate through recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and training, ensuring a winning experience for every Nitel team member.

your playbook

  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRMS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Generate reports from the HRMS to provide crucial data to people managers and the payroll contractor, ensuring accurate processing of employees time off and related benefits.

  • Assist employees with HRMS inquiries and provide training on HRMS functionalities.

  • Scout, interview, and draft top talent to build a championship roster by screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating candidate interviews with hiring managers.

  • Assist with new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.

  • Efficiently manage the offboarding process for employees separating from the organization while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with corporate HR to administer employee benefits programs and other employee perks.

  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure accurate enrollment and termination of benefits.

  • Help drive corporate culture that aligns with Nitels values and prioritizes employee engagement.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR activities.

  • Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment status.

  • Assist with assigned HR projects.

skills you bring to the field

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years progressive HR experience

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)

  • Familiarity with HRMS and proficiency in using HR software applications

  • Experience in recruitment, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes

  • Knowledge of benefits administration and ability to answer employee inquiries

  • Strong people skills and an incredibly high standard for safeguarding confidentiality

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle employee concerns or conflicts with empathy and diplomacy
