HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ADMINISTRATOR, School of Engineering (SOE), to serve as a temporary HR administrator for units in transition. Will provide effective management of HR activities for administrative, other academic, support staff, and postdocs for departments, labs, and centers (DLCs) within the SOE; counsel and advise senior leadership and staff on human resources matters, including personnel policy interpretation and administration, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion); oversee management of F1 and J1 visa processing; and generate and collaborate on developing creative solutions to complex problems, which may include working effectively with a diverse cross section of individuals or groups in a variety of situations.

The HR Administrator assists in supporting employees assigned to Skanska USA Civil business units. The HR Administrator will support with administrative tasks including electronic filing, employee inquiries, recruitment processes and programs. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming full time. What You'll Do: * Partner directly with HR Services team to ensure all administrative requests are communicated clearly and aligned with established workflows, ensuring that transactions are completed accurately, and in a timely manner. * Support alignment within and across business units and execute business processes with IT, Communications, Legal, Payroll, Benefits Related Subject Matter Experts etc. * Support a recruitment experience that engages new graduates, interns and other candidates including posting of positions, vetting and screening applications, scheduling and participating in candidate interviews with local management teams, and maintaining and supporting work practices that specifically improve the candidate and new employee experience. * Administration of background checks, orientations, new hire paperwork, terminations and exit interviews. * Administration of company Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Referral Programs. * Assist with tracking performance metrics for yearly talent review process. * Maintenance of electronic files and confidential personnel records. * I-9 Administration. * Respond to verifications of employment in coordination with payroll as needed. * Assist with reporting, data analytics & tracking, and preparation of presentations. * Other duties as assigned or required. * Occasional travel to supported projects/office locations.
