In this role you are at the heart of human resources and the soul that keeps the team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your leader and HR Leadership team members. You help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Microsoft Office tools. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects, are a PowerPoint wizard, a calendar managing maven, and handle travel and expense reports like a pro. You're practically a Superhero! In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions. Working behind the scenes, you will make a significant impact on the people you support and the success of the HR department.

You will demonstrate success by:

  • Prepare, review and organize ER20 and other compensation-related documents

  • Collect and aggregate data from dispersed and disparate resources for ad-hoc and period reporting

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the sector VPHR and select sector HR staff

  • Creating, updating and maintaining organization charts

  • Organize and coordinate regular conference calls, HR meetings and other events to include preparing and distributing agendas, taking and distributing meeting notes

  • Researching and preparing summaries on select HR topics and initiatives

  • Taking initiative to develop, implement, improve and standardize processes and procedures with little or no guidance

  • Coordinating multiple, rapidly evolving simultaneous priorities and projects while ensuring effective communication with multiple stakeholders and organizational levels

  • Assisting the sector VPHR with a broad range of administrative and tactical duties

  • Utilizing Excel to input and manipulate data, build models and create charts

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or HR management is strongly preferred

  • 3 years of experience in administrative support, especially in an HR function or department

  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel

  • Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions

  • Effective organizational skills and a proven ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Previous experience with SuccessFactors and Taleo is a plus

In the role of Human Resources Generalist, the candidate will perform administrative responsibilities in support of the Human Resources functions as well as administering policies and processes related to all phases of Human Resources activity. Essential functions: * •Carries out administrative work involving the human resources functions and maintains related records; * •Processes payroll; ensuring that payroll and time records are submitted timely and accurately; * •Performs data entry in time keeping system, databases, HRIS and numerous reports (local, divisional and global); * •Recruits, screens, and interviews internal and external applicants and proposes salary recommendations for candidates; * •Compiles statistical reporting for the department, corporate, and regulatory agencies; * •Compiles and maintains employee files, I-9s and Export Control documents; * •Creates new hire packets, sets up interviews, enters background checks and tracks applicants throughout recruiting process; * •Conducts new hire orientation and exit interviews; * •Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance; * •Advises employee and management personnel on the interpretation of basic personnel policies, programs, and procedures; * •Supports the organization of employee events; * •Participates in coordination of annual enrollment and Wellness program; * •Proposes improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations; * •Leads United Way drive annually and participates in all community related activities; * •Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture; * •Regular, predictable attendance is required; * •Other duties may be assigned.
