EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of related experience in Human Resource duties. Professional Human Resource Certification preferred.

Requirements

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees.
  2. Coordinates and implements the agency's Human Resources Orientation to all new employees.
  3. Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures.
  4. Prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
  5. Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises/recommends performance evaluation system as necessary.
  6. Process/maintains required personnel's tracking to include but not limited to the following:

a) New Hire Reporting

b) Retirement Plan for Eligibility and services requirements

c) CobraServ data

d) Annual employee certifications.
7) Advertise and collects all applications for open positions within the agency.
8) Forwards applications to appropriate supervisor and assistance with the hiring process.
9) Ensures the proper paperwork is submitted for hiring and the appropriate signatures are acquired.
10) Prepares Offer Letter for employment for H/R to sign.
11) Assist supervisor and staff with training and/or implementation of HR Policies.
12) Assist supervisors with progressive disciplinary policy.
13) Assist employees with Grievance Policy.
14) Assist employees with Conflict Resolution.
15) Maintains Personnel files in a state of complete compliance (audit ready).
16) Arrange Human Resources meetings and training presentations by determining all related needs and then ensuring that those needs are met.
17) Generates written, verbal, and electronic communications/correspondence on behalf of Human Resources Department, as directed by CEO.
18) Serves as liaison to agency staff, insurance carriers and community representatives by working with each entity in a manner that is professional and respectful.
19) Coordinates the benefits for the open enrollment process.
20) Keeps all administrative files currents (Benefits, CobraServ, Unemployment Compensation, Workers' Compensation, etc.)
21) Completes demographic data on Employment Verification Forms and Wages Statement Forms for review and signatures. (Payroll Clerk completes earning history information on same forms.)
22) Completes reference checks on applicants ( via phone, email or fax)
23) Ensure that employee morale activities are planned and carried out.
24) Participates in administrative staff meeting and attends other meeting, such as seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
25) Performs other related duties as assigned by CEO.

The healthcare arena is FAST paced, and a large part of your role as a TMH Talent Advisor is first learning and using the communication channels which are preferred by those whom you are communicating with. * Our Healthcare talent market is a tight one, and the ability to sell an opportunity is a critical skill you must possess. * You will be coordinating and executing recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet both immediate and projected future needs. * Utilizing various recruitment tools and methods, you are someone who feels comfortable to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates and to match those candidates to open positions through screening and assessment * Using market research data and brand awareness to understand the more valuable and evolving approaches to reaching "passive candidates" and personalizing the candidate courtship experience. * Participates in recruiting events and projects throughout the year * The Talent Advisor performs salary calculations, negotiates employment terms and conditions, and makes sound business decisions to protect internal equity Additional Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or other Related Field (Even Clinical) o HR may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1:1 basis. * Minimum One (1) or more years of professional experience working in healthcare recruitment, human resources, or other related field. o Strongly Preferred: Experience with high volume pipeline recruitment and/or grass roots sourcing strategy implementation in a healthcare setting * Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CHCR, and/or RACR * Excellent interpersonal and written skills, positive attitude, flexibility, creativity, innovative, and able to promote Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare as a great place to live, work, and play! * Ability to effectively negotiate, communicate/present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * Knowledge of federal and state employment laws * Experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook) * Some travel required for events, including some evenings and/or weekends (15%-20%) Your Call to Action!
