EAG is starting the search for a Human Resources Administrator, responsible for the organization and management of files and administrative tasks in the HR department, to join our Corporate team.

This role is responsible for the day to day, monthly, and quarterly OR The overarching responsibility of this role is to ensure that all employee documentation is stored and filed appropriately, employees questions are answered, HR systems are up to date with correct information, and supporting all ongoing onboarding, offboarding, and office management tasks. The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining Employee Records and documentation.

  • Support Employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

  • Keeping HRs systems up to date/in sync.

  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.

  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

  • Maintaining the HR dept calendar and event schedule.

  • Providing administrative support for the Director of HR.

  • Providing backup to the Senior Office Administrator.

POSITION, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited state-certified program required.

  • 2+ years experience in Human Resources or similar role preferred.

  • Proven ability to ensure work is accurate and completed in a timely manner.

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving.

  • Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.

  • Solid computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe PDF

  • Experience with ADP Workforce and ADP 401k.

  • Must be eligible to work for ANY employer in the United States; we are unable to sponsor H1B applicants at this time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

EAG offers a variety of flexible schedules and models which would be confirmed during the interview process.

The selected candidate will work in our downtown Houston office 5 days/week.
