Overview
The Human Resources Administrator is a part-time non-exempt position. The individual will support day-to-day administration of Human Resources (HR). The individual will report to the Director of Human Resources. This opportunity will initially be part-time, 25-30 hours per week, with the potential to go full-time.
Responsibilities
Lead the coordination and execution of new employee onboarding and orientation in accordance with established processes and procedures.
Communicate effectively with new hires regarding the orientation process.
Lead benefit enrollment data entry on all internal and external benefit sites.
Interface with the Corporate Recruiter, Directors, and HR team on onboarding actions timely and effectively.
Support new employee transition into the company by conducting formal and in-formal reviews (surveys, phone calls, in-person meetings, etc.)
Maintain employee records in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic internal compliance checks of HR records.
Support the development and/or enhancement of HR policies, procedures, forms, etc.
Support the development and tracking of HR metrics.
Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events.
Performs other HR duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in human resource management or business administration preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience and ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Ability to multitask and change projects with agility.
DoD/Aerospace experience desired.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Experience with Deltek Costpoint desired.
