This position functions as a Human Resources Technician for the Michigan State Police Office of Human Resources. This position is responsible for coordinating and processing the CS-138 Personal Services requests, as well as temporary services requests.
Position also serves as the Security Administrator for HRMN. Provide compensation and benefits counsel to between 1,100 and 1,300 departmental employees. Serve as compensation and benefits liaison between agency employees, other state agencies, MI HR Service Center and labor organizations.
Coordinates training activities regarding HR technical processes, including SIGMA / time and attendance training. Coordinates the Adjusted Work Schedule request process. Interpret Civil Service rules and regulations and departmental rules, policies and procedures as they relate to Human Resources issues/compensation & benefits.
Implement, resolve and clarify issues relating to employee compensation and benefits. Responsible for entry and auditing of data into the SIGMA and the Human Resource Management Network (HRMN) system.
