HR Specialist performs clerical and administrative tasks to support HR operations and projects. Completes routine data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems. Assists with delivering core HR processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, and program implementations, including benefits, compensation, and performance management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Entry
Opening mail
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.
Managing and updating employee records and data.
Responding to HR-related queries
Perform onboarding
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
Complete termination paperwork, employment verification and exit interviews.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
Previous experience working in human resources.
Knowledge of database software, email systems, and office software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Good organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of employment law.
Empathy and an approachable demeanor.
Attention to detail
