We offer tremendous opportunities for growth and advancement. Currently, we are seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Basic) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL.

This position supports the day-to-day planning, operation, execution, and documentation of the MDCDP. Duties include the following:

Program Analysis:

  • Assist MDCDP Team members as needed to help manage the overall MDCDP

  • As MDCDP Team Member, assist the CDPs with answering any questions or directing them to the correct source

  • Compile Statistical Data and Analysis from resumes for Reports to DX and Class Sponsors (various SES-level management) which includes detailed information on MDCDP Class participants on schools attended, degrees achieved and years of experience

  • Prepare MDCDP Smart Books

  • Assist, as needed, with Rotation coordination when the CDPs are preparing to rotate to their next assignment

  • Assist, as needed, with Mentor/Mentee assignment coordination for the CDPs

  • Assist, as needed, in planning/coordinating/tracking Recruitment Blitz to include:

  • Researching when 30-50 University/College Recruitment and Career Fairs are offered to present to management a possible schedule over 2-3 month Recruitment Blitz

  • Coordinate/schedule Information Sessions at a few colleges when directed. This includes working with the University/College on reserving dates, rooms and other details

Participate in Standing Meetings

  • MDCDP Weekly with HR occurs every Wed, 10:30-11:30am; HR Conference Room

  • MDCDP Champion Tag up usually occurs after the HR Weekly meeting or as needed

  • DX / MDCDP Update Meeting occurs 1-2 times per month

  • Assist with reviewing of charts for the DX Update by MDCDP Champion

  • Support these meetings by attendance and input as needed

  • Assist in coordinating/planning/reserving conference rooms and VTCs for MDCDP class meetings, to include but not be limited to:

  • Rotational Briefings

  • Graduation Ceremonies includes working with MDA Protocol Office to provide CDP information as requested; and assist on stage with presentation of certificates

  • Oath Ceremonies includes working with MDA Protocol Office to provide CDP information as requested; and assist on stage with presentation of certificates.

  • MDCDP All-Hands Meetings

  • 90-day rolling On-boarding Program including Tuesday and Thursday meetings

  • Week-long MDCDP Orientation (held approximately 2-4 times a year)

Communications:

  • Maintain MDCDP Calendar to include sending Calendar Summary to On-Boarding Class as needed and entering events in MDCDP Outlook Calendar

  • Monitor MDCDP Team email IN-BOX and address questions

  • Coordinate with MDCDP Portal Site Managers (current CDPs) to update all CDP Access to MDCDP Portal Page

Documentation and Records Management:

  • Set up and maintain MDA MDCDP Distribution Lists for all previous and current classes to include CDPs, Supervisors, and Mentors

  • Maintain Job Announcement Documents for the CDP positions for MDCDP Team reference

  • Assist in coordination of Training Courses Completed and those still needed by each Class and each individual CDP

  • Maintain CDP Resumes, by class, as received from HR

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in related field

  • The Qualified candidate must have a DoD Secret Clearance

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications

  • Extremely organized

Currently we are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist General Characteristics: The Quality Assurance Specialist position is responsible for overseeing our ISO 9001 program and ensuring the quality of manufactured goods from delivery to final product by continually assessing processes and recommending improvements. Responsibilities: * Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products. * Serve as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement. * Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer. * Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection. * Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports. * Assist in process certification. * Oversee ISO-9000 quality process. * Review customers purchase orders, contracts and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans. * Develop, execute and analyze quality-reporting measures. * Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses. * Review suppliers purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements. * Participate in internal and external quality audits. * Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented. * Compile, write and deliver training material on quality standards and activities. * Manage the quality assurance aspects of new product introduction. * Provide oversight of the manufacture of products to ensure that engineering documentation is consistent with manufacturing methods employed.
