Job OverviewThis role is a great opportunity for an HR professional who is interested in gaining HR generalist experience and/or further developing and strengthening his/her skills in partnering with the business on all HR matters. In this role, you will be interacting with employees and managers by providing day-to-day HR support in areas such as but not limited to policy compliance, compensation analysis, performance management, employee relations and the Annual Review Program delivery. As part of the HR team, you will collaborate on HR initiatives and projects to deliver services for our business partners. This position requires a team player who can build strong relationships with HR and business partners. It also requires a high-level of attention to detail and the ability to analyze data in support of decision making. In addition, must possess, the ability to prioritize and maintain confidentiality, as well as flexibility, creative problem-solving and effective communication skills.All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.Minimum Qualifications5+ years of Human Resource experience in one of the core functional areas (Compensation, Org Effectiveness, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition or Employee Relations) or equivalent experience

The Literacy Resource Teacher provides literacy supports to the Taft Middle School community. Working in conjunction with school administration, teachers, parents, students and the public by providing supports in assigned instructional programs, special projects, curriculum components/writing, technical support, and professional development to maximize instructional capacity of our teachers, and improve student knowledge and understanding in Literacy. Examples of Duties The duties of this position includes but is not limited to the following: * Provide direct intervention to students and adapt instructional routines, strategies and deliver specialized instruction to students, including monitoring and adjusting intervention instruction; * Generate, promote, facilitate and monitor professional development, trainings, lessons by implementing Critical Concepts providing learning experiences that directly impact students' literacy outcomes; * Design, implement and evaluate a comprehensive literacy plan; * Delivers optimal instruction for students, staff and parents using a variety of instructional techniques and strategies that will develop necessary skills to maximize the potential of our students' effective performance; * Integrates curriculum, technology, assessments, and interprets results to determine student growth and identify areas of need, selects interventions, communicates results and provides guidance for teachers; * Evaluates literacy practices and reports findings, guide teachers and administrators in collaborative efforts to design, implement and evaluate local, state and/or federal programs, and plan and conduct staff development; * Promotes District's goals, objectives facilitating implementation of adopted literacy curricula; Typical Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Verification of successful teaching experience in grades 6-8. General knowledge and understanding of Common Core State Standards in literacy and 6-8 curriculum. Experience in effective classroom instruction and presentations. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid California teaching credential in English or Multiple Subject with supplement in English. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to professional development workshops and meetings.
