What We're Looking For

OZ is seeking an HR Manager to focus on our company culture and make working at OZ a great employee experience. This includes employee engagement and helping the company implement, drive, and manage HR best practices across the organization including collaborating with HR in our global locations. The ideal candidate should have experience having worked in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and should have had prior experience laying the foundation for HR operations, policies, and overall best practices.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for the foundation for HR operations, policies, and overall best practices. This role requires generalist knowledge in several areas that include but are not limited to employee relations, recruiting, compensation, performance management, career planning, benefits administration through a PEO, compliance, and immigration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development of our employee engagement strategy and oversee the execution of its initiatives. This includes serving on a Culture Committee to collaborate with employees and provide guidance on topics related to enhancing the company culture.
  • Collect, maintain, analyze, and report on various types of key Human Resources metrics to assist management in effective decision-making.
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate records and reports concerning all employee data and all phases of Human Resources processes providing information for SOC2 compliance as needed.
  • Consult with and advise managers on how best to encourage, support, and develop employees within a progressive career path, tailored to the needs and circumstances of each department.
  • Own a job description development framework, empower hiring managers to create descriptions for new or changed roles, and provide a review before publication.
  • Implement and manage the performance review process
  • Ensure that each role has manager-defined accountabilities and goals which is supported by a job description
  • Recruiting in collaboration with department management coordinating the offer and acceptance process
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures
  • Coordinating with the immigration attorney for H-1B and green card processing

Requirements

  • BS degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to allow for interaction with employees at every level of the organization
  • Dependable, adaptable, team player with the desire to improve and grow the company
  • Supervisory experience a plus
