This role will entail supporting functional areas of HR and serving as a strategic and tactical partner supporting the manufacturing organization. The HR Manager will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: full-cycle recruitment working with on-site temporary agencies and internal talent acquisition team, onboarding, workforce planning, talent development, change management, labor relations, compensation, employee relations, performance management, employment law and compliance and HR reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs.

  • Develops effective relationships with operational departments to understand their business goals and to proactively identify and implement solutions that align with organizational strategies.

  • Runs the administration of and compliance of compensation, benefits, EEO and other human resources policies and procedures.

  • Delivers training and guidance to management and supervisors on how to handle employee relations, including attendance management, conflict management and progressive discipline processes.

  • Examines trends in manufacturing compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

  • Consults with management teams to assist with identifying and developing programs to resolve employee skills training and development needs. Works with management to develop, locate, review, recommend and/or deliver training programs.

  • Participates in operations staff meetings to ensure an integrated business partnership and strong link with strategy and the direction of business.

  • Capacity to critically analyze HR data for identifying trends and preparing HR plans (i.e. attendance, retention rates, turnover and HR scorecard for probationary employee's).

  • Accessible to all production shifts.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Coordinates administrative and logistical details associated with the day-to-day operations of the HR department; coaches, develops and motivates team to achieve organizational goals, objectives and professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Able to travel (minimal) as needed

  • Experience with a fast-growing company

  • Comfortable with a 24/7 operational environment

  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred

The base salary range for this role is $97,800 to $146,700. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
