Human Resource Intern
Responsibility includes Human Resource Business Partner for hourly population in a manufacturing environment. This will include lock assembly, cylinder assembly, finishing, fabrication and electronics (245 employees). Responsibilities to include working with supervisors on disciplinary action, employee relation issues, recruiting, hiring, promotions, terminations, mid year performance reviews.
Project work: review all hourly job descriptions and update as necessary. Review hourly population to determine if grading and midpoints are in line with the market.
Review pay inequities between males and females and minorities and non-minorities. Provide recommendations for grade and/or necessary pay adjustments.
