Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruiting (40%):

  • Schedule interviews for non-exempt and exempt level positions, send calendar updates to interview team, schedule travel for candidates and be point person for candidate on interview day

  • Create HR documents including offer letters, new hire forms, promotion letters, internal transfer forms and update to the system as need be

  • Manage pre-employment process using our third party company, GIS. Track background and drug screen completion, and be the liaison between the company and the candidate

Administrative (30%):

  • Process new hires through ADP, generate Fortive ID number and maintain files through employment here

  • General filing for HR, running reports and other paperwork as needed

  • Assist Site HR Manager with monthly KPI data

  • Other reporting duties as needed

Training (15%):

  • Help maintain candidate flow for new hire orientation, order lunches, and print off training materials

  • Be the backup New Hire Orientation leader when Training Specialist is out

  • Assist Training Specialist by scheduling training for production and operations associates

  • Help file training papers as necessary

Benefits (15%):

  • Conduct Benefit Introduction during New Hire Orientation and put together benefit new hire packets

  • Manage Open Enrollment by conducting training seminars, answering questions and liaising between Pacific Scientific and Fortive

  • Help plan and schedule wellness and benefit events throughout the year (flu shots, wellness check etc.)

  • Answer any other benefit questions that may come up from associates

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related business major strongly preferred

  • Previous HR Experience (whether full time or internship) preferred

  • Ability to maintain confidential information and records at all times

  • Can work cross functionally with HR and other departments

  • Excellent communication skills required

  • Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Education Required: Bachelors strong preferred

  • Experience Required: 0-3 years
