Human Resource Business Partner, Talent Acquisition
IMCD US currently has an opening for a Human Resource Business Partner to manage Talent Acquisition (HRBP) for a growing organization. This role is based in our Corporate Headquarters, currently officed in Westlake, Ohio.
The HRBP is responsible for managing and driving all aspects of Talent Acquisition, reporting directly to the Vice President Human Resources for the IMCD US organization.
This role is both a strategic and hands-on role that both owns and performs the work required to source, select, develop, support and retain a bright and capable pool of talent. The role is critical in executing our people plan, providing high touch internal customer support, and supporting HR functional excellence and process improvement.
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Talent Acquisition:
Own end to end life cycle recruiting events, process and projects
Identify and lead sourcing opportunities including career fairs and advertising solutions
Coordinate recruitment activity for new requisitions
Mentor and develop managers regarding recruiting/interviewing per company standards
Generate, track, post, report on, and close requisitions
Source, screen, and recommend talent
Facilitate interviews and decision team meetings
Facilitate pre-hire screening, background checks & paperwork
Facilitate employment verification and reference process
Primary candidate point of contact for status and onboarding
Facilitate organization announcement process
Build a campus program to increase the IMCD talent pipeline, including on-campus recruitment team and activities, coordination of on-site interviews, and talent tracking
Verify I-9 documentation and maintain I-9 records
Drive onboarding process, ensuring distribution of relevant materials and sign offs for important policies including handbook, non-disclosures, and other relevant documents
Assist with transfer requests and paperwork
Process and administer data transactions related to HR; hires, changes, promotions, transfers, and separations as well as other outputs of self-service and HR processes
Track relevant metrics, recommend strategies for Talent Acquisition effectiveness
Perform wage and role accountability market surveys and recommend updates
Support talent acquisition and other function related projects salient to the growth of the
IMCD US organization
Other Duties:
Provide direct support to the Vice President Human Resources for IMCD US
Provide ad hoc support for employee relations as a member of the Human Resource team
May occasionally support internal company events which are not recruiting related
Other duties as assigned
The HRBP role is both strategic and hands-on and provides critical support to our IMCD US organization. This individual is accountable for executing in line with our people strategy, providing outstanding customer service, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The relevant qualifications for this role are outlined below.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relevant concentration with HR certification
Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant experience
Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
Able to prioritize and complete multiple concurrent initiatives
Able to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including senior management, and business associates
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Independent proficiency with applicant tracking systems
Paylocity proficiency is not required, but a plus
Able to maintain strict confidentiality
Able to identify, analyze and solve relevant business problems in a timely manner
Able to prioritize and plan, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment, manage competing demands and deal with potential changes, delays or unexpected events
Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy and, at the same time, comfortable to follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance
Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and Federal/state/local employment-related laws required
Able to read and write the English language sufficiently to understand, articulate and create effective and error free instructions and communications
Flexible to work an occasional evening or weekend
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Able and willing to travel up to 25%
