The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on HR related issues and as an employee champion and change agent.   • * Function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization * Promote the well-being of the human aspect of this organization and report any concerns to the Chief Human Resource Officer. * Administer the principles of short and long range planning to anticipate and avoid issues * Utilize the support staff to the best interests of this organization * Act as a liaison, Team Leader and link communication between the Executive Director of the affiliate and the Chief Human Resources Officer and the Human Resource Department Support Staff * Function with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, clients and consumers of this organization * Maintain a high level of confidentiality * Be an advocate for all the policies, protocol, labor grades etc. of the organization * Foster a humane atmosphere within the Human Resource Department as well as the entire organizationRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:*
  • Assist the Chief Human Resource Officer with * Working with the Executive Director of the affiliate(s) and the employees to support and counsel on employment needs of the business unit(s). * Work together to sustain a productive and engaged workforce. * Tracking, trending, reporting on all areas related to Human Resource Management* PRE-EMPLOYMENT* RECRUITMENT*
  • Assist in making verbal offers of employment * Develop Letter of Intent To Hire * Assist with completion of all required New Hire documents*

  • * Onboard new employees and ensure proper initial training is performed.*
  • EMPLOYMENT ACTIVITIES* ELECTRONIC FILES* HR Computer software and programs * Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws. * Perform scheduled activities/ reports * Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. * Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.*
  • * EMPLOYEE COUNSELING* Manage employee relations including, but not limited to, advising Manager/Supervisors on performance, retention, and employee experience * Assist with handling disciplinary action and resolving employee complaints * Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results. * Conducts investigations of employee relations situations, including grievances and EEOC charges. Ensures legal requirements are met in terms to minimize exposure to liability.*
  • POST EMPLOYMENT ACTIVITIES* RESIGNATIONS & TERMINATIONS* Assist with and conduct Exit Interviews * Assist with resignation letters, complete resignation acceptance letters * Complete termination letters, accompanying paperwork, and conduct termination meetings*
  • * UNEMPLOYMENT* Completion of unemployment questionnaires and attend unemployment hearings as needed*

  • * JOB EVALUATION* Assist in the development and maintenance of all Job Descriptions * Assist in the development and maintenance of all Job Evaluation Forms * Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential*
  • * MONTHLY COMPLIANCE* Oversee monthly compliance needs and ensure they are being met per regulatory and licensing requirements.*
  • * WAGE & HOUR* Assist with and assure all forms are signed/dated and processed in the personnel file * Provide compensation support to address internal equity concerns, promotions, transfers, etc. * Adheres to all Wage & Hour regulations * Be well-versed on all state, federal and corporate regulations and implement as deemed necessary* SPECIAL PROJECTS* STRATEGIC PLANNING* Assist with planning for the agencys future; implement strategic plan goals and objectives specific to the HR department * Interacts and coordinates with internal HR team (Compensation, Staffing) to provide seamless service excellence to business unit. * Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. * Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met. * Actively participate in HR Business Partner team initiatives such as streamlining of processes.MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:*
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related field * Masters Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations preferred*
  • * Ten (10) years experience in Human Resources Generalist role with diverse human resources experience in multiple areas, including experience working with labor, EEO and AA laws is required. * Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations * Certifications or credentials in Human Resources preferredEXPERIENCE:*
  • * Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws. * Relevant industry experience a plus. * Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and initiative. * Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with high growth, changing circumstances, while working with multiple and diverse responsibilities. * Ability to consult with, challenge and influence senior management on processes and practices to achieve business unit(s) goals for success. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to inform, engage and inspire. Emphasize communications as a tool to build collaboration and ensure organizational alignment. * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. * Detail & results oriented, with strong track record of success in delivering on objectives * Computer skills including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS and payroll systems.NETWORK FUNCTIONS:*

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for a variety of cross-functional duties in the administration of human resources for the facility including: staffing, payroll, employee relations, etc.. * Responsible for the selection and interviews for positions within the facility, including selection criteria and appropriate salary levels for positions and budgets. * Manage processes connected with the onboarding of new employees, process terminations largely consisting of ensuring UltiPro data entry and communication to respective departments. * Coordinate new hire and benefits orientation, employee training programs, hiring support, job analysis, compensation analysis, and/or routine employee relations. * Provide coaching and consultation to managers, supervisors and other employees to help solve problems related to human resources. * Responsible for the selection and interviews for positions within the facility, including selection criteria and appropriate salary levels for positions and budgets. * Work with managers to resolve and prevent employee relations issues. * Provide information on employee programs and policies. * Enter and maintain all employee information in UltiPro (HRIS). * Maintain personnel files, including training records and all necessary new hire paperwork. * May advise managers on performance management, workforce planning, compensation issues, recruitment and onboarding activities. * Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling obligations. * Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
