The HR team at LC is actively seeking talented individuals to join us in an exciting period of growth. In this role, you'll be responsible for the management and oversight of the Talent Lifecycle including Onboarding new Team Members, Performance Management, Engagement, and Succession Planning for the Goat.

Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:

  • Manages the Human Resource Business Partnership with all Goat leaders. Acts as a strategic partner on all talent related matters as it relates to org design, talent management, and employee engagement.

  • Develops and maintains proactive and positive employee relations and ensures the equitable application of the Company's policies and procedures.

  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a strong candidate pipeline for the Goat that is aligned with current and future staffing needs and partners with Learning & Development to create strategic programs that advance our initiatives behind LC Invests specifically for the Goat.

  • Interprets and applies understanding of company policies, employment laws, and other regulations to provide immediate advice, guidance or clarification for Employee Relations inquiries from Management.

  • Addresses and investigates employee relations issues, together with company counsel, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns, leveraging knowledge of employment laws and company policies and procedures.

  • Conducts needs analysis, develops, benchmarks, pilots, and implements related HR programs to meet those needs. Analyzes and implements company-wide initiatives based on solid analysis of root cause issues with the ability to critically assess the effectiveness of new or revised programs.

Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Communications or a related discipline or commensurate experience in HR required.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive Human Resource experience working in a growing, dynamic company as a strategic partner is required.

  • Ability to travel to Goat locations both locally (50%) and out of state (25%) and work non-traditional hours. Availability to work on weekends and evening hours.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills as well as the ability to build relationships with hiring managers.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability the learn recruiting and HRMS applications, specifically Taleo and ADP.

We are excited to be adding a <strong>new Crochet Division in late 2019</strong>! </p><p>We are looking for an efficient <strong>Human Resources Coordinator</strong> to undertake a variety of HR, payroll, safety and administrative duties. You will facilitate the full employment cycle with a focus on daily HR tasks including recruitment, recordkeeping, safety and compliance. You will be the first point-of-contact for all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance throughout the organization.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resource and general administrative practices and must be able to work independently and resourcefully to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations at the site-level with training and mentoring support from the Director of Human Resources at the corporate office in Vancouver, WA. </p> <p>As the HR Coordinator, you will:</p><ul> <li>Focus on growing our company’s talent pipeline and improving our sourcing tactics</li> <li>Lead the hiring process by conducting interviews, performing background checks and drug screens, and onboarding new staff members</li> <li>Update and maintain accurate personnel records</li> <li>Review, correct and approve various timekeeping and payroll reports and assist with payroll processing tasks</li> <li>Inform employees about the benefits they’re eligible for and ensure enrollments are completed </li> <li>Serve as a member of the Safety Committee and support the creation of a healthy and safe workplace; maintain all safety-related reports, records and logs; attend outside trainings as required</li> <li>Support employee morale and culture-building initiatives and activities</li> <li>Administer drug-free workplace program</li> <li>Procure facility and operational supplies</li> <li>Building maintenance and security</li> <li>Assist and support supervisors with performance management, coaching and disciplinary actions</li> <li>With the support of the Director of Human Resources, investigate employee complaints and conduct investigations; recommend corrective actions</li> <li>Coordinate training sessions and seminars; source third-party trainers when necessary</li> <li>Complete the exit process with departing staff members</li> <li>Assist in ad-hoc HR and other projects</li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will have: </p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an HR coordinator or other relevant position</li> <li>Knowledge of human resources regulations, processes and best practices</li> <li>MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook</li> <li>Experience with HRMS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus!)</li> <li>Familiarity with social media recruiting</li> <li>Highly developed communication, problem-solving and mediation skills</li> <li>Ability to handle all types of information with discretion and confidentiality</li> <li>A degree in human resources or related field of study, or a combination of certification and work experience</li> </ul> <p>Crafts Group is a Drug-Free Workplace.
