Human Resource Business Partner, Cash App

Square New York , NY 10007

Posted 1 week ago

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We're working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms-and we're looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

There's no place like Cash App.

HR Business Partners at Cash App are there when our employees need us - and when they don't. This means that we show up for our teams when they need our help with employee relations, conflict management and coaching/development conversations. It also means that we are prepared to answer their questions before they are asked. To do this, we conduct proactive analysis and data collection, follow up on essential issues to help bring accountability and commit to bigger, more complex projects that drive the business forward. We operate with integrity, explain the why behind our actions, and do our very best to drop the HR jargon (HRRs, HRIS and RIFs, anyone?) and lead with sound judgement and common sense approaches to problem solving.
