This position functions as the Compliance Officer for the Lycoming-Clinton Joinder, which administers Lycoming-Clinton Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities & Early Intervention Services, Lycoming Children and Youth Services, and Lycoming-Clinton HealthChoices. The compliance officer will develop and provide direction and oversight of the compliance program. The Compliance Officer is responsible for identifying and assessing areas of compliance risk; communicating the importance of the compliance program to the Joinder Administration; developing and implementing education programs addressing compliance and the code of conduct; implementing a retaliation-free internal reporting process, and collaborating with Joinder Administration to effectively incorporate the compliance program within system operations and programs and to carry out the responsibilities of the position.Qualifications:
  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
  • One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties at the journeyman level, including experience in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.

After completion of an eight (8) week training program, you will be completing your Income Maintenance Caseworker duties in an office setting environment. Major duties include determining eligibility for financial assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, Nursing Home Care, and Waivers as well as any additional programs the Department administers for applicants/recipients in accordance with state regulations. In order to accomplish these duties, you will interview customers either over the phone, or in person, review policy, data enter information into an automated eligibility determination system as well as perform manual calculations.  This includes all job functions that are necessary to perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodations. The majority of the Income Maintenance Casework (IMC) workload consists of interviewing customers, reviewing policy and the use of automated eligibility determination systems. A limited number of programs still require manual determination of benefits. Job duties are carried out under the general supervision of an Income Maintenance Casework Supervisor.
