Kentucky's Unified Prosecutorial System is comprised of 57 Commonwealth's Attorneys and 120 County Attorneys. The offices of the Commonwealth's and County Attorney are established by the Kentucky Constitution (KY Cons. Sec. 99; 100). The Unified Prosecutorial System is administered by the Prosecutors Advisory Council (PAC) which prepares and administers the budget and the continuing legal education and program development of the Unified Prosecutorial System (See KRS 15.705).
We are looking for a Human Resource Administrator who is driven to succeed to serve as our Chief Personnel Administrator (HRG) for the Unified Prosecutorial System. The Human Resource Administrator, located in the Division of the Prosecutors Advisory Council, Personnel and Benefits Branch is an integral component to our success and will utilize prior knowledge and formal training to oversee and implement all personnel and payroll programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Payroll processing during each payroll cycle.
Processing health insurance requests and responding to questions regarding coverage.
Processing FMLA requests.
Processing worker's compensation claims and buyback.
Processing annual and sick leave sharing.
Managing the performance management system.
Processing personnel actions.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Experience working with local government agencies and the courts.
Extensive knowledge in KHRIS personnel, payroll and benefits.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Processing annual and sick leave sharing.
Attention to detail and Professionalism and Integrity.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of professional experience in Kentucky state government merit system personnel or payroll administration or Kentucky governmental employee benefits administration.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required college on a year for year basis. Prior military experience will only substitute if the individual received an honorable discharge, discharge under honorable conditions, or a general discharge.

Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
