Bronco Motors is seeking a self-motivated, organized professional to join our team as an HR Administrator. This is a tremendous career opportunity for someone looking for professional development in a fast-paced, growing company.

This position will be responsible for the administration of the following Human Resource functions:

  • Recruiting including online postings, resume screening, candidate interviews, and assisting with selection of new employees.

  • Pre-employment functions including ensuring successful completion of pre-employment criminal background, motor vehicle record, and drug screen testing. Communicates process with managers and potential employees.

  • On-boarding including ensuring all required documents completed before hire including legal documents, company policies, pay plans, and any other applicable paperwork. Educate new hire on company policies, company benefits package, and company processes regarding attendance/property/any other applicable processing regarding their respective department.

  • Maintaining logs of issued and available company property.

  • Company harassment prevention training for pre-employment and an ongoing annual basis

  • Benefit administration including educating employees on benefit options, and entering enrollments/changes on provider websites.

  • Working knowledge and administration of FMLA.

  • Maintain personnel records.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Understand state and federal employment laws and regulations

  • Have excellent interview skills

  • Have the ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional/confrontational circumstances

  • Possess skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities

  • Payroll knowledge, will work closely with payroll department on regular basis

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and personal/professional reference check

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated team player with a strong human resources background who enjoys providing HR consultation. This HR Consultant is responsible for building effective working relationships with state agency leadership, supervisors, human resource staff, and employees. The DHR Consultant is responsible for ensuring agencies follow state and federal employment laws, DHR rules (IDAPA 15.04.01), statutes (Idaho Code §59 and §67), and Executive Branch policies. This classification differs from other human resource classifications as the incumbents consult on HR-related issues from a statewide perspective. Example of Duties Employee Relations - provides consultation in the areas of problem solving and progressive discipline; develops and reviews agency and statewide HR policies and procedures; supports and gives guidance for employee performance management including the statewide performance management system. Civil Rights - provides consultation and acts as a subject matter expert in state and federal laws including: The Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) including requests for accommodation and responses; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); affirmative action; investigates and makes resolution recommendations on complaints of illegal discrimination and sexual harassment. Class and Comp - in collaboration with the statewide compensation manager and the agency, develops compensation plans and matrices to address recruitment and retention issues including change in employee compensation; maintains the statewide classification system and uses Hay factor methodology in the development and revision of classifications; monitors and approves personnel actions. Recruitment and Training - supports and provides training on the use of the statewide applicant tracking system (NeoGov) including exam development and applicant screening; ensures compliance with the merit system and addresses score appeals; represents DHR at forums, leadership meetings and payroll trainings. Minimum Qualifications Good knowledge of: human resource administration; equal employment opportunity/affirmative action concepts and legal requirements.
