Job Description:

Key responsibilities include defining and leading the change strategy focused on sponsorship, employee engagement, change communications and learning and development as well as driving cultural change and tracking progress against organizational health metrics.

Lead Development and Implementation of Change Strategy

  • Inspire shared vision across the organization for Human Health (HH) IT and Global IT transformations

  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption/usage and minimize resistance to new processes and ways of working

  • Analyze the totality of change impacts; integrate findings and insights into vision and message development aimed at inspiring stakeholders to embrace change and foster engagement.

  • Engage, coach, and support leadership at all levels to ensure active and visible sponsorship

  • Lead development of change strategy by creating, contributing to, reviewing and executing change deliverable s, including internal communications that are focused on managing the change impacts of Human Health IT transformations.

  • Build change leadership capability within Human Health IT by ensuring access to change leadership resources and tools; as needed; leads learning and development efforts that result in practical knowledge enhancement and skill building for targeted populations.

  • Lead Human Health IT Change Team

  • Facilitate Change Metrics definition, targets, collection, and analysis; oversee and measure effectiveness of change plans, deliverable s and outcomes; aggregates findings and present recommendations to sponsors for continuous improvement and adjustment over the course of the change.

  • Guides/coaches/consults with change leads across Value Teams to help ensure adoption of IT products

  • Integrate multiple change initiativesthose being driven by IT, Fortify and business partners, and ensure proper sequencing and clear, consistent communications

Drive action for continuous improvement

  • Partner with Global HR and L&D to institutionalize a culture of nurturing, developing creative talent and further embedding Ways of Working and Agile mindset.

  • Mobilize Human Health IT resources to foster knowledge sharing and key learnings to help improve practices and processes and value across teams

  • Accelerate best practice sharing through Communities of Practices, exploit innovation globally and act as a catalyst to enable partnership, operational alignment and information flow up, down, and across the business.

Define and manage change communications plan

  • Provide coaching at all levels of managers and manage the design, development, delivery and management of Human Health IT change communications.

  • Develop change communications plan

Drive cultural change to realize the Human Health IT Operating Model Refresh

  • Cultivate a culture that helps realize the Human Health IT Operating Model refresh and desired Ways of Working

  • Create an environment that embraces experimentation, failing fast, applying the learning, and collaborating with speed

Travel will be required (~10-20%).

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • BA or BS required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Min 10 years Leading Implementation Change in Global Environment

  • Exp in change management

Preferred Requirements:

  • Preferred exp in Pharma a plus

  • MBA preferred

  • Experience leading change management in large global organizations transforming to agile ways of working

Program Director, Research Platform Solution Delivery * This position reports directly to the our Company Research Laboratories Information Technology Executive Director of Solutions Delivery * The Platform Solutions Delivery Director will lead architecture planning and delivery IT solutions for an industry cooperative next generation platforms for data aggregation and scientific experiment workflow, data science and analytics solutions for research scientists. * The incumbent will lead a matrix team of architects, product owners, and engineers in close collaboration with external partners as well as IT across our Company Discovery-Preclinical and Early Development. * Key operational responsibilities include architecture planning and oversight of architectural best practices and decisions, and leadership and ownership of design and delivery. * You will work closely with business and client facing IT leaders to manage change and transition solutions to operational support in order to transform the Company scientific research IT landscape. This effort includes collaboration with a external technology and scientific partners to develop a pre-competitive IT ecosystem for the lab. * The incumbent will also develop and motivate team members, drive architectural best practices, work closely with the Program Management office to manage plans, risks and issues and operate program governance structures to ensure transparency of status, issues, risks and decisions across multiple levels in the organization. * Primary Responsibilities include: * Program Director for overall Research Life Science Cloud (RLSC), Research Data Science Foundation Programs * Architecture leadership and oversight of program road map, architectural / technology decisions * Team building / talent mgmt. across matrixed team members * Managing program governance, status reporting, issue, risk escalation * Portfolio planning and budgeting and leadership of operational support transition for key solutions * New technology / Independent Solution Vendor (ISV) evaluation / integration * Vendor mgmt Education Minimum Requirement: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Biology, or quantitative biometric field Required Experience and Skills: * Deep understanding of Scientific Data Analytics, Modeling,Workflow business process, systems and vendor solutions as well as Scientific Modeling, AI and high performance computational computing infrastructure (Minimum 5 years) * A track record of success of defining architectural direction and leading, driving data aggregation, analytics, systems integration, projects in a complex global organization * Familiarity with modern information security and cyber-resiliency architectural techniques and practices. * Deep knowledge of cloud solutions, modern methods of systems integration such as restful APIs, data analytics capabilities to support high data volume, velocity, variety workflows * Hands on experience with delivery using GxP compliant systems development life cycle methologies and cyber-resilient solutions * Communication and influencing skills, coupled with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy. * Strong teamwork and collaboration skills exhibited by successful performance in leadership and team roles. * Proven leadership skills are required, along with the ability to develop and maintain complex relationships, manage communications and present clear and concise solutions to senior management * Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems and identify appropriate technological solutions * Demonstrated record to deliver results. * Established record in managing multiple and competing priorities. * Understanding and appreciation for change management methods. * Ability to identify and grasp broad objectives, a commitment to results and success in getting things done through others * Demonstrated ability to leverage influence and mentoring to develop individuals without direct reporting relationships. * Track record of success managing relationships with vendors as well as program governance bodies Preferred Experience and Skills: * MBA, Master's Degree or similar * Working in a global pharmaceutical research environment * Knowledge of big data ecosystems, graph databases, machine learning frameworks, and theoretical computer science underpinning them. * Deep knowledge of drug discovery and development processes and scientific applications * Knowledge of industry standards such as Allotrope, SEND, HELM Our Support Functions deliver services and makes recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organization.
