Position Summary: The Director, Product Leader will assist the VP and Sr. Director Product Leaders with the strategic, operational, and executional process for the identified product line within the Leaf Home ecosystem. This leader will need to successfully lead in a matrixed organization to identify product strategy, profitability, and growth aligned to Leaf Home's short-term and long-term goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a product-line P&L subject matter expert to include growth projections, profitability, budgeting, strategic planning, operational and capital expense, etc.

  • Assist with the execution against top-line and bottom-line goals by leveraging all functional areas (Growth, Direct Sales, Inside Sales, Installation, Procurement, and Service) to deliver on Leaf's promises to customers.

  • Work collaboratively to meet or exceed operational KPIs including optimal funnel conversion, labor efficiency, service levels, and contribution margin.

  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Product Development to develop the customer value proposition establish product market fit and determine the optimal product offering.

  • Provide insightful analysis of the product line in partnership with dedicated FP&A resources and establish action plans to accelerate growth and/or address challenges in real-time.

  • Assist the Sr. Director, Product Leader with identifying new growth channels and partners through collaboration with Commercial Operations and Growth departments.

  • Work to promote profitability of product(s) through partnership with Procurement and New Product Development leadership.

  • Stay up to date on the latest best practices, strategies, technologies, and industry changes relevant to your product domain.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in leading a product line or business.

  • Experience working cross functionally leading strategic and operational initiatives in a matrixed organization.

  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset and strong motivational abilities.

  • Experience in partnering with a variety of leaders supporting diverse and broad product direction and/or channels.

  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball."

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "win every day" mentality.

  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.

  • Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.

  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.

  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).

  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Financial and operational knowledge of home services industry.

  • Strong track record of driving sustained profitable growth in product management and/or P&L roles.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 10% domestic travel required.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.

  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
