Position Summary

The HSE Internal Communications Specialist will play a key role in enhancing communication across the enterprise to support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) priorities. Reporting to the HSE Senior Manager of Policy and Program Development, this position is responsible for designing and implementing initiatives, programs, and policies that align with HSE goals, foster a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Execute Communication Strategies: Create and implement internal communication plans and programs to effectively share HSE priorities, updates, and initiatives across the organization.
• Design and Implement HSE Programs: Develop and manage programs and projects that align with HSE goals, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Drive Employee Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to promote awareness, understanding, and active participation in HSE initiatives and priorities.
• Create Communication Materials: Design and distribute impactful content such as newsletters, reports, presentations, and digital resources to inform and inspire employees.
• Monitor and Optimize Effectiveness: Track the performance of communication strategies and programs through metrics and feedback, continuously refining approaches to maximize impact.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Graphic Design or 2+ years of professional experience.

• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (including air travel)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
