POSITION: High School Girls Soccer Asst. Coach

LOCATION: Winlock High School

DATES/HOURS: 2024-25 Season

SALARY: $3,700

WHS Girls Soccer Asst. Coach

Job Description:

  • Responsible to Head Coach/Athletic Director

  • Must be able to attend all school practices, games, tournaments, meetings, etc.

  • Must be able to drive district vehicles to transport participants.

  • Support the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program of that particular sport and the total athletic program of the school district.

  • Assume the responsibility for maintenance of facilities and personnel in the absence of the Head Coach.

  • Report all injuries, misconduct, or other unusual situations to the Head Coach, Athletic Director, or Principal.

  • Assist in checking in and inventorying all equipment at the end of the season.

  • Assume all duties assigned to the Head Coach in the event the Head Coach is absent.

  • Attend rules clinics, workshops, and classes that are required to maintain compliance with WIAA coaching certifications standards.

  • Apply discipline in a fair, firm and positive manner.

  • Conduct themselves in an ethical manner during practices and contests.

  • Provide information regarding Letters and special awards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.

  • Complete and file mandatory WIAA rules clinics with the Athletic Director.

  • Complete and file mandatory Safe School tests with the Athletic Director.

  • Criminal Justice Background Clearance via fingerprints
