How this Role Will Be Impactful
This is a remote-eligible position.
The HRMS Specialist will support the work of the Human Resource Department at Farmer Focus by providing technical support, troubleshooting, report generation, and training to all system users. The Specialist will work with internal and external customers and contacts including members of Plant Operations, Employee Development & Engagement, Payroll and the Corporate Team.
The HRMS specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that Farmer Focus data are accurate and reliable.

Essential Functions
Develops and delivers basic and advanced reporting at the request of a variety of constituents in a timely manner
Supports the work of departmental projects such as open enrollment, compensation adjustments, and annual audits (e.g. financial, 401K) through data preparation, analysis and management.
Researches and resolves inquiries and requests, system problems, performs scheduled activities, recommends solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.
Participates in HRMS business requirements analysis, system testing and supports system implementations, upgrades, and changes.
The specialist is expected to administer and maintain the HRMS without the need for assistance other than higher level, external technical support when necessary.
Develops and facilitates training to system users
Creates and updates HRMS procedures and job aids for all users
System maintenance and issue resolution
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure data accuracy and validate system configuration
Communication and follow-up with 3rd party support on system issues requiring resolution
Maintains data integrity by running queries, analyzing data, and communicating information to users.
Supports the work of the Payroll Team and Benefits Administrator by maintaining accurate system data, correct employee coding; and correcting timecard errors.
Reviews existing processes, policies, and procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiencies.
Electronic and hard copy document management
May participate in special projects within HR and in collaboration with other departments
Education, Experience and Skills
Essential

Previous experience using and administering human resource information systems such as UKG, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Paylocity, or Workday
Three to five years' experience in human resource information systems (HRIS) administration which includes planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing the overall HRMS operations in an organization for at least one functional area such as Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll or Time and Attendance.
Strong organizational skills that allow for project, time and priority management
Ability to work under tight deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong communication skills
Detail oriented, able to track and support multiple projects and requests
Dedication to ensuring data accuracy and data confidentiality
Works collaboratively in a team environment
Must have the ability to learn new technologies
Detail oriented, organized, and dedicated to working collaboratively with a team
3 + years' experience as a heavy user of excel, word, outlook
Comfortable using Microsoft TEAMS, Zoom, and other online collaboration tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

3+ years administering HR systems and prior system implementation experience
Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools, report development and creation
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Work conducted primarily in an office environment. This role can remote for the right person with a preference for a drivable distance from Harrisonburg, VA. The position may be required to visit the corporate office periodically for meetings, team cohesion and collaboration.
