The Human Resources Intern collaborates with the Human Resources team by taking on special projects, taking part in team meetings, conducting research and reporting to managers, conducting data analysis, and generally providing support to the Human Resources function by completing tasks as needed and assigned.
Support HR/recruiting function under direction of senior staff.
Assist with projects including jobs descriptions and postings, creating and sending emails, scheduling interviews, coordinating assessments, sourcing candidates and releasing candidates from consideration.
Conduct research on various HR-related topics and provide summaries and recommendations about findings.
Monitor various recruiting sites and postings.
Organize and maintain files; scan paper files as needed.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment; stay abreast of changes in employment/HR law.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Enrolled in related advanced education program.
Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive.
Solid understanding of the industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
