What you will be doing:

The Human Resource Management (HRM) Business Analyst 3 supervises a team of HRM subject matter experts and technical experts responsible for software configuration, development, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of various software solutions in relation to enterprise human resources and payroll programs. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating communications between teams, assisting with training curriculum development, and ensuring the team's project deliverables are completed in accordance with the project work plan.

Who we are looking for:

This position manages and provides direct oversight of a specialized project management team. To be successful in the position, a candidate will need the following knowledge, skills, abilities and experience:

  • Configuration Management: Knowledge of the principles and methods for planning or managing the implementation, update, or integration of information systems components.

  • Leadership: Adapts easily to a changing environment and helps others see a path forward under new conditions. Helps team members align work habits with the strategic plan. Motivates others to improve performance and contribute to the strategic plan.

  • Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: Uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one's knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.

  • Creative Thinking: () Uses imagination to develop new insights into situations and applies new solutions to problems; designs new methods where established methods and procedures are not suitable or are unavailable.

  • Effective Communicator: Clear, succinct, accurate and polite language; avoids unnecessary jargon and acronyms; empathetic to other perspectives; cognizant of non-verbal cues; and mentally present in conversations.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of advanced professional experience in an administrative field such as procurement, accounting, human resources, computer and information systems, and so on.

Substitution:

Graduate or upper-division post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, business management, marketing, economics, statistics, computer and information science, logistics, information systems management, or similar coursework will substitute for up to one year of the required advanced professional experience (2.67 semester/4 quarter undergraduate hours equal one month. 2 semester/3 quarter graduate hours equal one month).
