This role can sit in our Mesa Corporate office, located on Brown and Country Club and will be required to work Sunday through Friday, rotating days off with other staff.

Job Summary

This position ensures confidentiality, accuracy, maintenance and storage of complete employee data. Provides or creates reports and analyzes data that supports Human Resources leadership in effective decision making.

Essential Functions

  • Generates new and maintains existing employee records in Human Resources systems. Verifies records accuracy and reviews documentation to assure proper policy application and regulatory compliance related to maintenance of employee records.

  • Verifies completion and confirms proper approvals to processes employee transactions such as performance reviews, transfers, terminations, exceptions to pay, promotions, demotions , status changes, retroactive calculations and payment authorizations/requests. Reviews input to ensure entries are correct and comply with policy. Troubleshoot direct deposit and researches and resolves other issues related to employee pay.

  • Audits data input into Human Resources systems, investigates and researches rejections and errors, and follows through with appropriate corrections to assure data accuracy and policy and legal compliance. Identifies trends or patterns in usage and errors and works with system and HR staff to review and resolve.

  • Runs standard reports and analyzes data to support Human Resources decision making. Understands the data needs of Human Resources leadership and is able to anticipate additional data elements that will aide decision making.

  • Orients facility personnel (leaders and employees) to Human Resources and/or Payroll systems, e.g. employee and manager self-service. Provides specific training as necessary.

  • Serves as employee records subject matter expert on projects and new system development and implementations including testing, enhancement recommendations, and training as needed for new users.

  • Ensures operational compliance with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Coordinates the release of all personnel information, i.e subpoenas, state board, lawyer requests etc. Interacts with appropriate system departments to ensure requested information is accurate and appropriate for release.

  • For assignments specific to employment authorization records, serves as subject matter expert on Employee Eligibility Verification data including Work Authorization process and system implementations including testing, enhancement recommendations, and training as needed for users. Ensures compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).Partners with HR Advisory Services, HR Business Partners, Employee Relations Consultants, Talent Acquisition, Legal and our Immigration attorneys for additional legal guidance and resources.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires associate degree or equivalent education and/or experience in human resources, accounting, or payroll.

Successful candidates will have past experience in roles where data accuracy and access were key responsibilities. Needed proficiency level typically gained in 2 to 3 years experience in such a role. Needs basic understanding of Human Resources and Payroll functions, applications, and legal environment.

Knowledge and/or exposure to applicant tracking, benefits, recruiting or other areas of Human Resources will be helpful.

Thank you. The HRIS analyst is responsible for HRIS functional support, reporting, process improvement and maintenance activities. This analyst ensures the integrity, accuracy and proper use of HR information retrieved from the systems. Conducts review of business requests, analyzes data and makes recommendation to our internal and external clients providing alternatives to aid in maximizing efficiencies. * Serves as liaison with the business and IT in projects, gathering/documenting requirements and resolving problems. * Supply thorough customer service, maintain positive client/customer relations, and work efficiently. * Maintains the functional structure of the HR system, which may include maintenance of tables and workflow impacting the overall functionality and use of HR systems, and centralized corrections of associate data. * Execute system testing of configuration and integration. * Provide HR support through training and documenting system functionality. * Protect the privacy of our employee data by managing security roles and performing periodic security audits. * Partner with IT, Human Resources and HR Shared Services' partners to ensure data integrity. * Assist in developing data audits, controls, and providing day-to-day system maintenance to monitor and maintain data accuracy. * Responsible for ensuring system functionality is compliant with all laws. Executes compliance reporting. * Monitor, identify system for data issues and partner with IT on monitoring interfaces. * Maintain knowledge of functional area and company policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned by management.
